Day 2 : Fishy Baby – The Pregnancy Diary

The first thing I thought of after fully realising that I’m pregnant was – there goes Hibiki. Bye bye occasional beer. Oh coffee!

Through it all… One thing I refuse to give up is sushi. Bengali means you are born pescatarian. Ok. Not raw fish but fish! And my staple diet these past few decades? Fish. Well… to be fair… sushi and sashimi are my go to comfort food. So yes… loads of fish for this baby, along side cheese and veggies.

But functioning without coffee is a struggle when you have to work. And since I gave up smoking at the beginning of 2021, it was even more a struggle to go without coffee!
