Dry Hands

A drop of sandalwood oil,

a drop of rose oil,

ten drops of glycerin

in a warm cup of water – it read.

Dip your finger tips,

wait half an hour.

She always has

the best solution

to dry hands, my mother.

Care. Yet when inside it rains,

and she claps her hands,

it is the lacking care

of hands that stays.
