Really, the year of the Tiger will see so my new-borns! So many people I know, including myself of course, are pregnant. Sigh. Competition will be high for this lot!
So I read that this year is the year of the Water Tiger. It starts from February 1st, 2022, and ends on January 21st, 2023. A Water Tiger year occurs every 60 years. Of course my parents are thrilled with that revelation. For a Bengali (as much as the Chinese) a Tiger, Royal Bengal Tiger in particular, is the king of all beasts. It is often symbolic of strength, bravery, and independence.
Ah well! Que sera, sera… What will be, will be.
