The reason why I kept short hair is this – bedhead. My hair just adamantly stands out straight from my scalp… and no. It’s not cause I went to sleep with wet hair – so my wet mane didn’t dry in all kinds of funky angles as I moved around in sleep.
Waking up in the morning with a head larger than Merida’s in Brave can make one feel a bit startled! Even fictional medieval Scotland knew that “big” head is a thing of brave girls in the morning, and I don’t even have hair as long as Merida! Oh! Can’t archer for life and I disobey almost every ancient traditional customs – so maybe that’s what it is. My mom is a magical vicious bear, I have bedhead, and my boyfriend thinks I’m beautiful.
